Plagiarism

Originality and plagiarism

The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others, that this has been appropriately cited or quoted. Plagiarism takes many forms, from ëpassing offí anotherís paper as the authorís own paper, to copying or paraphrasing substantial parts of anotherís paper (without attribution), to claiming results from research conducted by others. Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

The detail of plagiarism checks:

  1. The articles sent by the author must be an original script and is not being considered for publication and not being published by other journal or publishers. This is done through a waiver of rights of copyright to the publisher and a statement about plagiarism filled by the author.
  2. All of submitted works will be checked by anti plagiarism software. At present, all of the articles have been checked for plagiarism by using free software, but due to limitations in the software database, we start using the software checker this year.
  3. Articles reviewed by peer review team who are competent in their field as a way to control plagiarism.
