The household sector is a significant contributor to food waste. One of the efforts to manage food waste is by applying circular economy principles. As a solution, training on waste sorting and BSF maggot cultivation was carried out and then tested it as animal feed. The area around the campus was chosen as the activity location, namely Balumbang Jaya Sub-District, with a population of 9,455 people consisting of 4,943 men and 4,512 women. In the training of maggot training trainers starting from trapping BSF fly eggs, preparing feed media for maggot that comes from household organic waste, maintaining maggot, and how to harvest maggot in prepared cages. The community is involved by providing buckets as organic waste containers and collecting them in an organized and scheduled manner. The maggot cultivation business is financially feasible. In addition, it is known that maggot cultivation is a solution for household organic waste and reduces environmental pollution.
2023-10-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Pusat Inovasi Masyarakat (PIM) https://jurnal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/pim/article/view/45553 Pendampingan Pemasaran UMKM Camilan di Kampung Jamuju Desa Sindulang Kecamatan Cimanggung Kabupaten Sumedang 2024-03-28T10:55:03+07:00 Rianti Cahyani usep-kosasih@uninus.ac.id Usep Kosasih usep-kosasih@uninus.ac.id Yeni Sulastri usep-kosasih@uninus.ac.id Tarisa Wirahma Gita usep-kosasih@uninus.ac.id Raina Afiana Amanda usep-kosasih@uninus.ac.id
Entrepreneurship is one of the activities that can improve the economy of small communities in Indonesia. Entrepreneurial activities can be products or services through a creative business. Entrepreneurship is the right solution to provide skills to village communities. The entrepreneurial skills program carried out by students of the Islamic Nusantara University in Jamuju Village, Sindulang Village, Sumedang Regency, aims to provide assistance activities for MSMEs with typical West Java snacks that focus on product packaging and providing digital marketing skills. MSME snack products include basreng (fried meatballs), macaroni, glass chips, cassava opak, and seblak crackers. The method of implementing assistance is carried out through location surveys and training. Mentoring activities begin with a location visit to find out the problems experienced by MSME actors. The problem experienced by MSME actors is a need for more knowledge and understanding regarding product marketing. MSMEs market their products by entrusting them to stalls. Therefore, MSME marketing technical innovation is carried out. The activity continued with planning innovative digital marketing mentoring and training activities with MSME actors. Product assistance activities include updating a more attractive packaging logo as well as conducting digital marketing skills training in the form of selecting online marketing media (via Shopee), creating an account, and promoting products on a Shopee account. MSME mentoring activities last for 15 days. This activity is expected to increase sales, marketing, and productivity of Camilan MSMEs.
2023-10-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Pusat Inovasi Masyarakat (PIM) https://jurnal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/pim/article/view/46957 Sosialisasi Pemanfaatan Limbah Organik Rumah Tangga Menjadi Pupuk Organik Cair dalam Kegiatan KKN-T di Kampung Rarahan, Cimacan, Cipanas 2024-03-28T10:55:27+07:00 Muhammad Findi Alexandi muhammadfindi@apps.ipb.ac.id Ibrahim Dhiaulhaq Firdaus ipbimbimdhiaulhaq@apps.ipb.ac.id Shaummiracle Widyarahman shaummiraclewidyarahman@apps.ipb.ac.id Khairunnisa Apriliani uniapriliani@apps.ipb.ac.id Anindya Intan Rahmawati anindya_intan@apps.ipb.ac.id Muhammad Fuadi Setia setiafuadi@apps.ipb.ac.id Asila Shafa Nuraisha asilashafa@apps.ipb.ac.id Nurrul Auliannisa Ginting nurulauliannisa@apps.ipb.ac.id Aprillia Damayanti aprillia_damayanti@apps.ipb.ac.id Nabilla Aisyah nabillaaisyahnabilla@apps.ipb.ac.id
Kampung Rarahan is one of the hamlets in Cimacan Village, Cipanas District, Cianjur Regency. This activity was held at the Kaliwlingi Village Hall, Brebes District, Brebes Regency, on July 27, 2022, and was attended by 21 women members of the PKK. The activity began with an introduction to api-api mangrove leaves, which are used as raw material for making mangrove ice cream. It continued with a demonstration of making ice cream and a preference test using the hedonic test method for the results of the mangrove ice cream that had been made. This activity generated ideas for PKK members regarding innovative mangrove ice cream food products and an understanding of their manufacture. The preference test for mangrove ice cream produced data that 61.9% of participants liked it, 23.8% liked it very much, and 14.3% liked it somewhat. The results of observations using a qualitative approach show that the community can understand how to use mangrove leaves in making mangrove ice cream, which is presented in the socialization material, and mangrove ice cream has become a food innovation idea to be developed by Kaliwlingi Village MSMEs.
2023-10-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Pusat Inovasi Masyarakat (PIM) https://jurnal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/pim/article/view/49747 Sosialisasi Ekoenzim Penyubur Tanaman dan Pelatihan Pupuk Organik Cair di Desa Sukaharja, Kabupaten Bogor 2024-03-28T10:58:01+07:00 Citra Permata Putri karinaaaulia@apps.ipb.id Rosnawati Rakhman karinaaaulia@apps.ipb.id Muhammad Ihsanul Amal karinaaaulia@apps.ipb.id Karina Aulia karinaaaulia@apps.ipb.ac.id Siti Aisah karinaaaulia@apps.ipb.id Radinka Nabiilah Sari karinaaaulia@apps.ipb.id Hana Ankrissa Hondo karinaaaulia@apps.ipb.id Sofianti karinaaaulia@apps.ipb.id Muhammad Satibi karinaaaulia@apps.ipb.id Muhammad Bunayya Hanif Shulhan karinaaaulia@apps.ipb.id Aprilia Hardiati karinaaaulia@apps.ipb.id
Waste management is a challenge faced by Sukaharja Village. Educational activities targeting housewives and the Environmental Movement (PLH) about household waste processing are needed regarding this issue. Waste processing methods that can be employed are eco-enzymes and liquid organic fertilizers (LOF). Through these activities, it is hoped that the residents of Sukaharja Village will develop an awareness of optimal waste management. The KKN-T Inovasi IPB team utilizes organic waste in Sukaharja Village by implementing a community development approach. This approach involves various activities such as socialization, training, technology diffusion, and assistance. All of these activities are divided into preparation and implementation phases. The preparation phase begins with conducting surveys and identifying problems, determining target communities, developing educational materials, and preparing necessary tools and materials. Once the preparation is complete, the team proceeds with the implementation phase. The implementation activities include socialization through brochure distribution and providing information about eco-enzymes, healthy gymnastics, and training for POC production up to the harvesting stage. Eco-enzymes can help reduce household organic waste, thus lessening the burden of waste at landfills. Liquid organic fertilizer production aims to change the habits of residents who typically use chemical fertilizers into eco-friendly liquid organic fertilizers. By applying the community development approach, the KKN-T Inovasi IPB team aims to empower the community of Sukaharja Village to manage waste more effectively. The awareness and knowledge provided through educational activities are expected to bring about positive changes in waste management, leading to a cleaner and healthier environment.
2023-10-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Pusat Inovasi Masyarakat (PIM) https://jurnal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/pim/article/view/49739 Penyuluhan Pembuatan Pupuk Photosynthetic Bacteria (PSB) sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Produktivitas Pertanian di Desa Argapura, Bogor 2024-03-28T10:58:23+07:00 Muzaki Alfa Rizqi zakialfa@apps.ipb.ac.id Muhammad Fajar Arsyad Laupa fajararsyad@apps.ipb.ac.id Lintang Cinta Aninia Risma lintangcinta@apps.ipb.ac.id Dhea Ekaputri dheaekaputri.05dhea@apps.ipb.ac.id Kamilah Da'inawari milaakdnkamilah@apps.ipb.ac.id Lewina Blesmira Saragi lewinaa.blesmira@apps.ipb.ac.id Kanaya Aulia Rahman kanayaauliarahman@apps.ipb.ac.id Intan Nurul Apriastika intannaprintan@apps.ipb.ac.id
Farmers need organic and inorganic fertilizers that can help increase their agricultural productivity. The same goes for the people of Argapura Village, located in Cigudeg District, Bogor Regency, who are still active farmers and planters. However, most farmers in the village still rely on inorganic fertilizers, such as pesticides, which harm the surrounding ecosystem and tend to cost more than organic fertilizers. To overcome these problems, counselling is carried out regarding the manufacture of organic fertilizers photosynthetic bacteria (PSB), which aims to optimize farmer resources to be able to make fertilizer PSB independently and use it as a supporting fertilizer that can maximize agricultural productivity and reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers. Implementation of counselling begins with measuring the farmers' knowledge of PSB fertilizer, then providing PSB fertilizer material, demonstrating the production of PSB fertilizer, and finally motivating farmers that the resulting PSB fertilizer product can become a business opportunity. Prior to being demonstrated directly to the farmers, PSB fertilizer had gone through experiments and trials on chilli plants as well as the packaging and labelling of finished PSB fertilizer products. The result of this counselling is an increase in farmers' knowledge about alternative fertilizers, namely PSB fertilizer and how to make it, as well as the growth of the entrepreneurial spirit of the farmers. Another result is the creation of PSB fertilizer products and educational videos.
2023-10-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Pusat Inovasi Masyarakat (PIM) https://jurnal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/pim/article/view/49124 Pemanfaatan Peta Sosial Sebagai Basis Data untuk Pengembangan Masyarakat Desa Sumberejo, Kecamatan Batur, Kabupaten Banjarnegara, Jawa Tengah 2024-03-28T10:58:44+07:00 Indra Destaniel indra18_destaniel@apps.ipb.ac.id Aufa Muhammad Zaki Zain zakizain@apps.ipb.ac.id Dwi Setya Ningrum dwi05526@gmail.com Gayus Candro Sinaga candromarianasinaga@apps.ipb.ac.id Aliyah Syahirah aliyasyahirah@apps.ipb.ac.id Ageng Prasetyo prasetyo_ageng@apps.ipb.ac.id Safira Fergiana safirafergiana@apps.ipb.ac.id Gilang Bagaskara Islami bagasislami@apps.ipb.ac.id Annisa Prameswari annisaprannisa@apps.ipb.ac.id Annisa Miftahulilmi annnisamiftahulilmi@apps.ipb.ac.id Edit Lesa Aditia editlesa13@gmail.com
Sumberejo Village is located in Batur District, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java. Apart from geographical conditions, there are also social conditions in society which are essential to pay attention to because they involve people's lives. The social conditions of the Sumberejo Village community have changed over time, starting from work, education, land ownership, and others. Therefore, social mapping is needed regarding the social conditions of the community in Sumberejo Village. Social mapping aims to collect the latest data, which can be used as a village database for implementing future policies. This social mapping will accelerate development in Sumberejo Village because social mapping can provide a complete and comprehensive picture of the conditions of an area. The mapping was carried out using a sample area, namely the Simbar Hamlet area, especially RT 01, which includes around 78 households. As an effort to maintain the sustainability of the program, socialization and social mapping tutorials were carried out to youth from each hamlet in Sumberejo Village.
