Abstract

Abstract
This study use Indicator of Hydrological Alteration (IHA) method to evaluate statistically the flow characteristics between two periods of records. Existing daily discharge data from Wonorejo Watershed was separated in two periods called: pre-assesment (from 1990 to 2001), and post-assesment (from 2002 to 2013). All of 33 IHA parameters, which classified in five (5) class indicator, were used to measure the change or the level of alteration. IHA software version 7.1 was used for the analysis. The result shows that discharge in Wonorejo river has change to negative index. Result show that monthly, daily and extreme value of flow regime have decrease during the last 10 years (2002 – 2014) or post-assesment periods, compared to pre-assesment period (from 1990 - 2001). This study also calculate the environmental flow component of river flow to support sustainability of river ecology and surrounding environment.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi terjadinya perubahan indikator karakteristik hidrologi pada suatu DAS. Penelitian dilakukan di DAS Wonorejo, di wilayah Kabupaten Lumajang. Input utama adalah data rentang waktu berupa debit dan hujan harian. Periode rekaman data lebih dari 20 tahun. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan Indicator of Hydrologycal Alteration (IHA). Data rentang waktu dibagi menjadi dua interval (periode pra-penilaian (1990 – 2001) dan periode paska-penilaian (2002 - 2014). Sejumlah, 33 parameter IHA yang terklasifikasi ke dalam 5 kategori digunakan untuk mengevaluasi perubahan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan nilai parameter yang mengindikasikan perubahan hidrologi antara periode sebelum dan sesudah analisis. Selanjutnya, analisis menunjukkan adanya penurunan pada semua aspek aliran, yang mencakup: aliran bulanan, aliran esktrem (minimal dan maksimal), aliran tinggi/ rendah dan aliran dasar. Analisis statistik ini juga dapat menunjukkan adanya perubahan karakteristik aliran tinggi dan rendah yang berpotensi menyebabkan kejadian banjir dan kekeringan.
